En esta ocasión, para centrar las reflexiones que efectuamos en el presente trabajo, nos limitamos al área de América Latina, con algún comentario genérico sobre la misma y con ejemplos específicos de ciertas regulaciones actuales. Se trata de medir la dimensión constitucional del multiculturalismo en la zona, siguiendo el caso de los pueblos indígenas, y analizar críticamente la fortuna o no de esas respuestas. Como es sabido, América Latina es una región que posee una extraordinaria riqueza natural y cultural. The freedom of the press was one of the most important matters incorporated in the Constitution of Cadiz of 1812, representing a breaking between the old preservative regime and the assumption of the values of liberalism that allows the intervention of the society in the public sphere without previous control of the organs of power, trying with this inicial step the change of the political system.
