Argentina established diplomatic relations with the Gulf monarchies—Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman—decades ago. However, these relations only gained significant depth starting with the second government of the Frente Para la Victoria (FPV).
