Describe la clínica, epidemiología, inmunohistoquímica, tratamiento y pronóstico del Linfoma No Hodgkin que se presenta en los pacientes del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza. La mayoría de pacientes, para este estudio, son varones de 62 años. Los antecedentes familiares de neoplasia son principalmente Cáncer de mama y Cáncer gástrico. El signo más importante es la pérdida de peso y el tipo histológico más frecuente es el Linfoma difuso de células B grandes. El tratamiento más usado es la quimioterapia más inmunoterapia. El pronóstico es de Riesgo intermedio en 5 años, según el Índice Pronóstico Internacional.

OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the knowledge about contraceptives, its uses, efficacy, and adverse effects in an adolescent’s population of a public high school. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Descriptive retrospective study based on national and regional literature. RESULTS: Voluntary donations increased to 19.0%, screening of blood spread with the seven tests at 100% of the units collected nationwide, avoiding transfusion HIV infection, hepatitis B and C, HTLV-1 and 2, syphilis and Chagas disease. CONCLUSIONS: Implementation of Hemotherapy and Blood Banks National Program (PRONAHEBAS) had a positive impact by increasing transfusion safety by expanding testing and voluntary donation.
