The objective of this research was to describe the cultural identity of secondary school communication teachers in three public educational institutions in the districts of Belén and San Juan Bautista, Iquitos, 2023. This quantitative and descriptive study focused on the population and sample of 30 communication teachers from three educational centers, who completed a 35-item questionnaire. The results revealed that 40% of teachers always identify with their culture, reinforcing the idea that cultural identity is a central factor in their professional and personal lives. A further 33.3% stated that they almost always identify with their culture, reinforcing the presence of cultural identity among teachers, although with slight differences in the intensity of their connection.
