The present study has been developed in the nursery of the Faculty of Forestry Sciences in Puerto Almendra, of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, with the purpose of determining the behavior of natural regeneration of the species Vatairea guianensis aublet (mari mari) from the CIEFOR Puerto Almendra Forest. From the obtained results, the germination of sedes of the species Vatairea guiamensis aublet (mari mari) obtained from the natural regeneration of the Puerto Almendra forest reached 20% (16) germination 20 days after sowing and reached 85% (68) 25 days after sowing. The percentage of sedes collected and classified reached 61.25% (245) of good quality, 18.75% of regular quality and 20% (80) of por quality.
