El complejo diarreico perinatal de las alpacas esta asociada con alrededor 30-40% de morbilidad y 10 % de mortalidad antes de alcanzar la edad de producción. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue caracterizar preliminarmente E. coli de alpacas neonatas. Se colectaron 160 muestras de heces de alpacas neonatas con infección entérica (AIE) manifestada por diarrea aguda o crónica y 160 muestras de alpacas neonatas clínicamente sanas (ACS) en la estación de la UNSAAC - La Raya, Cusco. La caracterización se realizó mediante el sistema API-20E y sensibilidad antimicrobiana a 9 antibióticos.En las 160 (100%) muestras de heces del grupo de AIE y 152 de las 160 (95%) de las ACS, se identificó E. coli. The objective of the present research was to determine the ketamine - xilazine effects on the anesthetic and post anesthetic period and the physiological constants during the immobilization period of Panthera onca breed under the Parque Zoológico Natural de Pucallpa captivity conditions. For this purpose ten jaguars in Captivity from the Parque Zoológico Natural de Pucallpa weighing 40 to 67 kg were used. These were immobilized with 17.4 ± 3,97 mg/kg of ketamine clorhydrate (KC) and 0.82 ± 0.37 mg/kg of xylazine clorhydrate (XC).
