In this thesis, we focus on analyzing the different ways in which new physics scenarios, such as Violation of the Equivalence Principle (VEP) and Quantum Decoherence, can manifest themselves in the context of the neutrino oscillation phenomenon. Within the framework of the DUNE experiment, we examine several effects of the VEP, such as the possibility of getting a misconstructed neutrino oscillation parameter region provoked by our ignorance of VEP in nature, as well as the impact on the DUNE sensitivity for CPV and mass hierarchy. Additionally, we set limits for the different textures of the gravitational matrix and the diverse scenarios of energy dependencies associated with the Lorentz Violation. On the other hand, we demonstrate that the quantum decoherence phenomenon applied to the neutrino system leads us to fascinating phenomenological scenarios. One of the scenarios analyzed, wit...

In our study, the cathodic material xLi2MnO3–(1−x)LiNi0.5Mn0.5O2 was synthesized by means of the co-precipitation technique. The effect of x (proportion of components Li2MnO3 and LiNi0.5Mn0.5O2 ) on the structural, morphological, and electrochemical performance of the material was evaluated. Materials were structurally characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), and the morphological analysis was performed using the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) technique, while charge–discharge curves and differential capacity and impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used to study the electrochemical behavior. The results confirm the formation of the structures with two phases corresponding to the rhombohedral space group R3m and the monoclinic space group C2/m, which was associated to the components of the layered material. Very dense agglomerations of particles between 10 and 20 µm were also...

The landscape of particle accelerator physics in South America has been the subject of a systematic review that analyses the regional contribution and collaborative networks in this field. The research focuses on the role South American countries play in the development and research of particle accelerators, highlighting both the achievements and challenges facing the region. The review highlights the importance of international collaboration in particle accelerator physics, evidencing how South American scientists and institutions have established connections and alliances with research centers around the world. These collaborations have not only enabled access to advanced technologies and knowledge but have also contributed to the exchange of ideas and the development of scientific capacities in the region. This systematic review comprehensively examines the state of particle accelerat...
