The development of this thesis entitled "Design of a didactic module based on artificial vision for the inspection of products according to their shape, color and / or geometric dimensions", arises in support of the Mechatronics Engineering Laboratory of the National University of Trujillo, with the to improve the practical learning that the students need, due to the deficiencies that the school currently has. The type of research was descriptive - experimental, following the methodology of implementing an inspection module based on artificial vision and by performing tests, obtaining the parameters inherent to the products and comparing them with those established by the user, thus determining the acceptance or rejection of them.
