Pityriasis alba, is a benign inflammatory dermatosis, common in infancy, characterized by hypopigmented macules, mainly clinical diagnosis. Objective: To determine the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of pityriasis alba in pediatric patients. Material and methods: Descriptive study, which included pediatric patients attended in the external dermatology clinic of the Teaching Regional Hospital of Trujillo, with diagnosis of pityriasis alba, between February-August 2017.
