Preterm birth occurs between 22 and before 37 weeks; the incidence in Peru varies between 5.6% and 14% of all pregnancies and remains one of the biggest problems of morbidity and infant and maternal mortality. Objective: Determine whether a history of preterm delivery, adolescent maternal age, anemia and infection pathways are risk factors for the development of preterm delivery in pregnant women at the Bethlehem Hospital of Trujillo, January 2009-December 2013.
