Corporate Volunteering (CV) has grown in recent years, looming largely on the agenda of many companies and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) both internationally and in Uruguay. The objective of this article is to identify the organizational factors that contribute to the management and development of CV and to analyze the articulation between, on the one hand, the theory underpinning the guides published by organizations that promote CV, and on the other, the practices of Uruguayan companies, in order to determine the relevance of the latter as inspiring models of good practice for other companies. Estudio aplicado con diseño instrumental y corte transversal que tuvo como objetivo determinar las evidencias de validez del cuestionario de personalidad resistente en universitarios de la ciudad de Trujillo. La muestra empleada fue de 333 personas, a quienes se les aplicó las escalas: Cuestionario de personalidad resistente, escala unidimensional del burnout estudiantil y la escala de autoeficacia general. Para la validez de estructura interna se usó el análisis factorial, el cual confirmó una estructura de tres factores con índices de ajuste aceptables (SRMR= .046, RMSEA= .066, CFI= .921, TLI= .903); en la validez de criterio la resistencia se correlacionó de forma positiva con la autoeficacia y negativa con el síndrome de Burnout; por último, mediante alfa de Cronbach se obtuvo una confiabilidad aceptable (.88).
