The ravines of the Moyobamba city, constitute, at the same time, a tourist attraction of the visitors to our city, likewise access that join the city and the ravines are used as viewing-points, from where it is possible to observe the different landscapes that make a detour to the city. Despite the existence of municipal ordinances that resolves that the declared as intangible zones, the population has been used as sites for direct solid wastedisposal. Through this research work was able to determine the ravines that currently are being used for the direct disposal of so lid waste, characterization, as well as the contamination that has been generating.
