Esta obra es una compilación de diversas expresiones de la tradición oral del pueblo ese eja, que se encuentra en el departamento de Madre de Dios. Contiene relatos conocidos en las tres comunidades ese eja: Comunidad Nativa Infierno, a orillas del río Baawaja (Bahuaja) o Tambopata; Comunidad Nativa Palma Real, en la margen derecha del río Ena’ai o Madre de Dios y Comunidad Nativa Sonene, margen izquierda del río del mismo nombre.
