The present work aimed to validate the manufacturing process of the Alkoyodo Foam product (povidone iodine 7.5%) in the Alkofarma E.I.R.L. laboratory facilities, for which the consecutive batches F1110426, F1120436 and F1120486 of Alkoyodo Foam were used in the presentation of 1000 mL, this being a concurrent validation; Taking into account parameters such as linearity, accuracy and precision and robustness in the manufacturing and packaging stages, in turn comply with the parameters of USP 39; The process capacity for each test for each stage (manufacturing and packaging) was also calculated. At the manufacturing stage, lots F1110426, F1120486 were the least dispersed in terms of linearity, accuracy and precision, with results of (0.005), CV (%) (0.097%), Cp (46.81) and (0.007), CV (%) (0.856%), Cp (5.96) for the average pH and average titration assays respectively. On the other...

This research aimed to identify formaldehyde in cosmetic shampoos expended in the Hermelinda market Trujillo in March 2015.Trabajamos to the method of Ho Georghiou and whose mechanism is the union of two molecules of chromotropic acid when it reacts with the formaldehyde, in a strongly acidic medium (H2SO4) and under heating in a water bath through a methylene bridge. The result of chromotropic acid and formaldehyde in the presence of a red-violet color is observed. Ballerina®, Amens®, Johnson's®, EGO®, Savital®, Pantene®, Konzil®, Petit Post Pon®: samples of the following brands of shampoos were studied. By analysis it was found that 75% of shampoo brands: Ballerina®, Amens®, Johnson's®, EGO®, Savital® and Konzil®, have formaldehyde in its formulation; and 25% for the Pantene® and Petit Post Pon® brands do not show formaldehyde in its formulation

This research aimed to determine the physico-chemical parameters and evaluate the effect of essential oil of Origanum vulgare leaves on isolated ileum Cavia porcellus. the essential oil obtained by distillation method entrainment of water vapor, yielding 1,14%. refractive index, density and pH were determined, obtaining average values of 1,4772, 0,9107 and 5,20 respectively. The oil was soluble in ethanol 96 °G.L., dichloromethane and chloroform. The organoleptic characteristics were: aromatic odor, camphor; light yellow; bitter, slightly spicy, astringent flavor and oily texture. The antispasmodic effect was determined by testing on guinea pig isolated ileum, using PowerLab equipment, for which he worked with 7 specimens. The results of the pharmacological evaluation showed that the essential oil concentrations of 0,5%, 1%, 2,5% and 4% generated effect on motility respect to amplitude ...
