The homosexuality is a difficult problem for the society, because the people that not circunscribe in the heterosexuality are displaced towards the abject. In the tale «Laura era ella» of the book Cromozoma Z (2007) by Jennifer Thornidike. This problem is presented, where the lesbian female characters face the denial of desire and social rejection. Thus, this paper analyzes this issue from the perspective of Judith Butler in her book Cuerpos que importan (1993). On the other hand, the formal narrative aspect is approached from Genette’s narratological categories developed in her book Figuras III (1989) with the aim of demonstrating that gender, sexuality and sexual orientation is a social construction reinforced by performativity.
