The present investigation was conducted to determine if the family crowding influences the quality of life of the inhabitants of the town of Quirihuac, Laredo district, province of Trujillo, department of Liberty in 2012. Which type of research is descriptive, cross-sectional correlational, was used for this purpose a survey that evaluates the quality of life and household overcrowding. This was achieved with the entire population, consisting of 80 families, for processing the data is used Microsoft Excel 10 and SPSS 18 through D Sommer statistical test. As a result we found that 21.2% of families and crowding have 78.8% of families have no family overcrowding on the quality of life, 20.0% have a low quality of life, 47.5% have an average life quality and 32.5% have a high quality of life.
