The main objective of this research is to demonstrate if there are determining factors in the export of coffee; period 1994 - 2016, for which the world coffee price, the substitute world price and the per capita income of the main coffee consuming countries (Germany and the United States) were evaluated, which led to the determination of the main export factors of coffee. Regarding the research design, a longitudinal, non-experimental, mixed and descriptive approach was chosen, for which the information collected in the theoretical framework was used.
