Paciente varón de 33 años, que fue traído por su esposa al Servicio de Emergencia por cambios en su conducta. Tenía el antecedente de aumento de volumen de la rodilla derecha y una úlcera en dicha articulación. Durante la hospitalización se observó daño multisistémico. El estudio anatomopatológico evidenció la presencia de tuberculosis sistémica, afectando rodilla, pulmones, cerebro y riñones. Con el tratamiento antituberculoso, el paciente progresó rápidamente hacia la mejoría.

A 33-year-old male patient, who was brought by his wife to the Emergency Service for changes in his behavior. He had a history of increased volume of the right knee and an ulcer in that joint. Multisystem damage was observed during hospitalization. The pathological study evidenced the presence of systemic tuberculosis, affecting the knee, lungs, brain and kidneys. With anti-tuberculosis treatment, the patient progressed rapidly towards improvement.
