Objective: To determine the relationship between family functionality and self-care in people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the Manuel Manrique Nevado Polyclinic, Chiclayo, 2019. Methodology: The research was quantitative with a cross-sectional and correlational design. Its objective was to determine the relationship between family functionality and self-care in people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The information was collected using the instruments FACES III (Family Functionality) and SDSCA (Self-care in Diabetes), applied to 84 people made up the sample census. A pilot test was implemented to test the reliability of the instruments, for which Crombrach's Alpha was used, obtaining 0.79 and 0.72 respectively. El objetivo general del estudio fue determinar la relación entre el liderazgo transformacional y clima laboral en el personal del Servicio Rural y Urbano Marginal de Salud de la Red Chiclayo. Se baso en teorías relacionadas a las variables estudiadas, la metodología fue tipo básica según su enfoque cuantitativo con diseño no experimental de corte transversal correlacional. Su población estuvo conformada por 50 profesionales de la salud pertenecientes al Servicio Rural y Urbano Marginal, la muestra fue igual que la población tuvo muestreo no probabilístico.
