Objective: Carry out a geotechnical risk analysis of the Intiorko hill sector where the Sol Naciente y Dos de Febrero Housing Association is located in the Ciudad Nueva district, with the objective of preventing settlements and collapsing homes located in the study area. Methodology: A correlational - quantitative design was used, using the documentary review of the studies carried out in the study area as well as interviews with the inhabitants of the area involved. The relevant field investigations were carried out for its processing, analysis and interpretation in the cabinet, which allowed for the final report of the thesis. Objetivo: Realizar un análisis de riesgo geotécnico del sector del cerro Intiorko donde se encuentran emplazadas las Asociaciones de Vivienda Sol Naciente y Dos de Febrero ubicadas en el distrito de Ciudad Nueva, con el objetivo de prevenir asentamientos y colapso de las viviendas ubicadas en la zona de estudio. Metodología: Se utilizó un diseño correlacional – cuantitativo, empleando la revisión documental de los estudios realizados en la zona de estudio así como entrevistas realizadas a los pobladores del área involucrada. In recent decades, global warming has triggered significant changes in the hydrological cycle, leading to various disasters, especially contrasting events such as droughts and floods. These occurrences have also been recorded in the Atacama Desert, resulting in considerable economic losses worldwide, in Latin America, in Peru, and within the study region. The primary objective of this study is to obtain fundamental morphometric parameters, including basic spatial, linear, shape, and landscape aspects through the integration of GIS tools and artificial intelligence, enabling the identification of flood-prone areas within micro-watersheds.
