Introduction: Dentists have increasingly focused on aesthetic treatments using HA, leading to a rise in associated complications and a greater need to understand its effects and management. Objective: To describe the different complications associated with the use of HA in non-surgical aesthetic procedures, as well as their management and prevention. Materials and Methods: We conducted an exploratory systematic review of existing literature on complications related to HA use in the facial area and their treatments during August 2023.
