The study is about the principals Contemporary Pedagogic Currents that have marked and mark the formation of the man. It has been considered the components of each one of them, analyzing them and comparing them with styles or teaching methods of the Physical Education, proposed by Muska Mosston; was taken as basic aspects the educational conception, the purposes of the education, the relationships between teacher-student, the educational contents, the methodology and the evaluation. There was executed a investigation descriptive – comparative, which had as intention determine the existing relation between teaching styles of the Physical Education and the pedagogic currents, reaching at the conclusion that the teaching styles have a direct relation with the educational conception of pedagogic currents.

This investigation examines the participation of students from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, in the XVII Trujillo National University Sports Games in 2006 and the XVIII Tacna National University Sports Games in 2008. The main goal was to identify the percentage difference in UNMSM sports performance in the two competitions as well as to analyze the infrastructure and sports equipment. Training and athletes are also important in this investigation. As a result of this investigation there are many suggestions such as the possibilities of infrastructure improvement, health care and recreation.

Propuesta presentada y aprobada en el VII Congreso Nacional de Educación Física, Deporte y Recreación realizado en la Universidad Nacional Enrique Guzmán y Valle - La Cantuta, en el mes de julio de 2001, Ante la necesidad de contribuir al desarrollo de un sistema que impulse la Educación Física, el Deporte, la Recreación y la Danza en nuestro país, es que se hace imprescindible la creación de una Red Nacional de la Cultura Física, la que estaría conformada por los centros formadores de profesionales en la Educación Física y áreas afínes.
