The study was conducted in the low terrace forest of the New Horizon Native Community with the aim of determining the structure, composition, and economic valuation of the low terrace forest in the New Horizon Native Community, comparing sampling zones and sampling methods. The study was descriptive-comparative, at a descriptive level, with a quantitative approach, and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study found that there were no significant differences in the number of trees per hectare, basal area per hectare, volume per hectare, and reference economic valuation for the dead zones. The most representative species were Ceiba pentandra and Copaifera reticulata. Conversely, for sampling methods, the inventory reported significantly more trees per hectare and reference economic valuation compared to the census.
