El estudio examina el perfil profesional del relacionista público como agente estratégico de cambio en organizaciones peruanas, con base en las perspectivas de directores de comunicación, consultores de Relaciones Públicas y comunicación corporativa, y miembros de la academia. Se identifica la falta de un marco teórico sólido en Relaciones Públicas y la escasez de literatura sobre el perfil profesional del relacionista público actual en Perú. Utilizando un enfoque cualitativo y diseño fenomenológico, se realizaron entrevistas a profundidad a 27 profesionales divididos en tres grupos. Los resultados muestran un consenso en la importancia de competencias como la redacción, el análisis del entorno y la adaptación al cambio.
