This paper presents the design and implementation of a executive functions’ stimulation program in a socially vulnerable population. The population was composed of 18 children between 6 and 11 years old, of both genders, who attend to Las Lilas Health Post (Pilar, Argentina), which were evaluated before and after the program’s implementation with the argentine adaptation of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children WISC-IV. The stimulation was done through a specially made booklet to work the executive functions (working memory, cognitive flexibility, inhibition and planning). This pilot program allowed to build a nexus with the community, forming a institutional framework, on which new intervention programs are supported for the same population.

The theme of this work is to reflect on and recover the importance of the concept of availability as the axis of therapeutic work beyond the clinical model that frames therapy. Both classical authors and current studies linked to the genuine development of the person were used as reference sources. From the availability of the therapist towards the patient’s points of tension, the patient will be able to identify with this attitude of accommodating in himself what is avoided, denied, rejected and ultimately perhaps he can treat himself in his difficulties as he feels it is treated or hosted by your therapist. That the person of the patient can get his life out of the stagnation that stops and limits it, and thus restart it, implies offering him availability and not forcing him to meet theoretical goals. Remove aspects of life from stagnatio...

The present research work aims to describe characteristics of the Limits implemented by parents in the child-rearing of 3 to 6 years old. For that purpose, a qualitative empirical method and the design of grounded theory was used. To this end was selected a sample of 10 fathers and 10 mothers between 25 to 35 years old, belonging to the middle class and residents of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Some of the findings coincided with what was stated in previous research. However certain variables and habits were discovered which nowadays have relevance, such as new objectives which parents consider at the moment of set limits or negotiation as a constant in the interaction.
