The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between shyness and self-concept in primary school children belonging to a private educational institution in Lima. In addition, we sought to identify how shyness is related to each of the dimensions of self-concept and the significant differences in the values of shyness and self-concept depending on the academicgrade and gender of the children. This study had a positivist paradigm, quantitative approach, descriptive level, basic type and non-experimental, correlational and transversal design. Esta investigación buscó demostrar el efecto de un programa de storytelling en el desarrollo de la creatividad narrativa en niños de 5 años de una Institución Educativa Privada de Lima. Esta investigación fue de enfoque Cuantitativo, de tipo Aplicada, y de diseño pre-experimental. Se trabajó con una muestra de 24 niños de cinco años. Se aplicó el instrumento llamado Lista de Cotejo de Creatividad Narrativa antes y después del programa. Luego del tratamiento estadístico, se concluye que el programa de storytelling tiene un efecto positivo en el desarrollo de la creatividad narrativa en los niños de 5 años, siendo la significancia entre el pretest y el postest de 0.00 (p < ,05), el cual determina que existe una diferencia significativa entre ambas pruebas, considerando una mejora importante en la creatividad narrativa.

Esta investigación tuvo como finalidad demostrar la correlación entre timidez y autoconcepto en estudiantes de primaria de una Institución Educativa Privada situada en Pachacámac. Asimismo, buscó establecer la relación entre timidez con cada una de las dimensiones del autoconcepto. Además, buscó demostrar las diferencias significativas entre los niveles de timidez y autoconcepto según grado académico y sexo del estudiante. El estudio de investigación fue enmarcado en un paradigma positivista, de enfoque cuantitativo, en un nivel descriptivo, de tipo básica y diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional.
