In Peru, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on various dimensions of human and national development. While it is true that children have not been affected in terms of mortality, there is evidence of a negative impact on their development in the short and long term. In this sense, in Peru, timely and quality care through access to the integrated package of services of the Ministry of Health was severely affected, reducing its coverage and generating risk scenarios for the physical, emotional and mental development of children in the future. Indigenous organizations were born out of the demand that, to this day, remains the backbone of their agenda: to protect their lands and natural resources, as a guarantees for their subsistence. The state response was to create the figure of “native community”, that would become fragment swarths of lowlands indigenous people’s territories; a legal figure similar to the “peasant community” in the Andes. To establish native communities, the state concentrates the indigenous population in villages, breaking traditional patterns of settlement. Since the 21st century, in Peru, there has been an increase in social conflicts, mainly socio-environmental, linked to the growth of the extractive industry due to the boom in commodities. fte foregoing demonstrates a paradox between economic growth and governability that, in some cases, has resulted in episodes of extreme violence. In this scenario, the Peruvian State has developed important reforms and various tools for the management of social conflictivity through dialogue. (...) este trabajo intenta por un lado ser un aporte a la discusión sobre la función de la Justicia de Paz, y por otro dar voz e indagar sobre las percepciones que sobre ella tienen las mujeres.
