The Royal Decree 1629/2011 approaches the special employment relationship of the domestic employees to the common labor normative. The author of this paper seeks to analyze the extinction of the employment contract of household workers in disciplinary dismissal and withdrawal; examining judicial rulings, legal literature and the current state of the subject.

Por fin, España ratificó el Convenio 189 de la OIT el pasado 9 de junio de 2022. Nuestro Gobierno tiene, por delante, una ardua tarea, ya que tiene que comprobar si nuestra normativa interna vigente colisiona o no con el contenido de la norma internacional y, en caso de colisionar, tendrá que adaptarla o, incluso, modificarla. Su ratificación constituye una cuestión de justicia social, de importancia a nivel económico y de seguridad social.
