Doctor en Filosofía por la Universidad de Leipzig y doctor en Ciencias por la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas, Pablo Guadarrama González acaba de ser reconocido con uno de los premios nacionales de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba por su obra Cultura integracionista en el pensamiento latinoamericano (2021). La oportunidad apremia presentar tan valiosa publicación producto de un largo y continuo trabajo de investigación. En este libro encontramos no solo estructuradas las ideas originales que nuestro autor ha presentado parcialmente a través de los años, sino que reflexiona desde las nuevas circunstancias —por ejemplo, la pandemia por coronavirus— y, por lo tanto, sobre los nuevos peligros que acechan el integracionismo latinoamericano.

The elaboration of this article stems from the interest in rethinking the conclusions of the study The other pandemic at home. In these we identified deficiencies in the prevention and immediate attention of the state system in the face of gender violence, which became even more evident during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in Peru.
