El desarrollo del presente artículo se enfoca en que el lector pueda comprender mediante la descripción del contexto en el que se desarrolla un proyecto inmobiliario y la presentación de conceptos principales en torno al mismo, la forma en la que el fideicomiso, una figura que va tomando cada vez mayor relevancia a nivel del mercado peruano, puede ser utilizado como un instrumento que dota de mayor solidez y seguridad a los agentes que intervienen en el desarrollo de un proyecto inmobiliario, pudiendo llegar a desplazar, incluso con el paso del tiempo, al esquema tradicional basado en el otorgamiento de garantías.
