The objective of this research is to analyze road connectivity in relation to the indicators of illiteracy, malnutrition, homes without access to water, non-monetary poverty and internet access. In the methodology for mapping road connectivity, distance weighting or inverse distance weighting (IDW) was used in the ArcGis 10.8 software, while the indicators for the districts have been extracted from GeoPerú. The results indicate that road connectivity plays a crucial role in the socio-economic development of the districts. Those with high connectivity, such as Moche, Huancán and Perené, have lower rates of illiteracy, malnutrition, homes without access to drinking water, non-monetary poverty and homes without internet compared to districts with low connectivity, such as El Porvenir, Santo Domingo de Acobamba and Pichanaqui. Abstract The objective was to analyze the organization of the houses in a rural geographical area from the spatial analysis in relation to the location and organizational characteristics in the Andes of Peru, the data were obtained from direct interviews with the families, supported by the systems geographic information through the processing of satellite images that allowed the development of thematic maps for analysis and interpretation. The conclusion in relation to the location of the houses 44% of them are located between 200 to 400 meters away from a water source; while in the organizational characteristic they are very common aspects, three rooms, the calamine ceiling and the construction of the adobe walls.  

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo promocionar los recursos naturales y culturales para promover el ecoturismo como una alternativa de desarrollo sostenible en el distrito de Vischongo, provincia de Vilcashuamán; asimismo, presentar un circuito ecoturístico. Para alcanzar el objetivo se realizó una profunda descripción de los recursos naturales y culturales clasificando y caracterizando detalladamente. Creemos que es necesario el inventariado de los recursos y atractivos para promover un turismo alternativo o ecoturístico, además el buen desarrollo de dicha actividad contribuirá a preservar el ecosistema, que genere un aporte en el aspecto ambiental, económico y sociocultural para el distrito mencionado.

El Programa de Cooperación Internacional de Monitorización Integrada de los Efectos de la Contaminación Atmosférica en los Ecosistemas (ICP IM) tiene como objetivo general monitorizar un conjunto de variables ambientales para determinar y predecir el estado y el cambio de los ecosistemas terrestres a largo plazo con respecto al impacto de los contaminantes del aire, especialmente nitrógeno y azufre. Los datos obtenidos en los diferentes puntos de muestreo que constituyen esta red internacional permiten examinar la existencia de distintos elementos químicos en el depósito atmosférico y sus posibles impactos ambientales.

Se presenta un estudio de la geografía rural, vinculado a la organización y la distribución espacial de las viviendas, ubicado en el centro poblado de San Carlos de Juscaymarca, distrito de Los Morochucos, provincia de cangallo y departamento de Ayacucho, Perú. El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar la organización de las viviendas en un ámbito geográfico rural. La metodología para logar el objetivo fue cualitativa con entrevista a 50 actores locales (varones y mujeres), validando con el uso de sistemas de información geográfica para representar a través de mapas temáticos.
