Mexico is one of the countries with the greatest number of historic centers recognized by UNESCO, and thus has developed a series of cultural policies, which deal with the regulatory aspect as well as with the economic resources of these centers. The following article analyzes the management of the historical centers of San Luis de Potosí, located in the north of the country. Heritage recovery was carried out within the framework of national cultural policies and local regulations. In what follows, the documents referring to the management work have been reviewed, which have taken into consideration the political, social, cultural and economic aspects of the Historical Center. The Salt mine of San Blas, located in the district of Ondores, province of Junin, Peru, continuously functioned as a salt extraction site from pre-Hispanic times to the 20th century. In pre-Hispanic times, production was based on the use of traditional exploitation used molds, pots and jars until the 20th century when the exploitation was industrialized, making it a place of great importance for the local mining industry. This historical trajectory is recognized and valued by the local population even though it is now abandoned. This research identified the cultural and social values that the population has of the site, being able to determine them in qualitative and quantitative terms. The results allow us to propose the management of San Blas as a cultural landscape, revaluing modern constructions, such as the Casona, as well as the existing archaeological heritage.

Gestiona el paisaje cultural de Óndores, Óndores, ubicado en el distrito de Óndores, provincia de Junín, Perú para lograr que la población lo reconozca como parte de su patrimonio cultural. Pese al potencial cultural del distrito, este no ha sido correctamente gestionado para el beneficio de la población. Los ondorinos mantienen un respeto por los sitios arqueológicos e históricos que se encuentran a lo largo de su territorio, pero lamentablemente la información difundida sobre los mismos es escasa, impidiendo que ellos conozcan su historia y su importancia.
