La minería ha generado múltiples conflictos sociales entre comunidades y empresas; pero, a su vez, ha sido la actividad con mayor contribución al producto interno bruto del Perú desde hace más de una década, especialmente, la explotación cuprífera. La relevancia del cobre radica en que es una de las materias primas básicas en la fabricación de productos y la expansión de las industrias globales. A través de esta investigación, se busca identificar y analizar los posibles escenarios de comportamiento que sostendrán la minería cuprífera en los siguientes cinco años.
