El presente trabajo de investigación trata sobre la empresa AB Contratistas Generales, empresa mediana de construcción metalmecánica que en el año 2015 tiene un contrato con el principal comprador de tanques de combustible del país; este contrato es una adenda de ampliación al compromiso contractual establecido inicialmente en el año 2012. Una vez iniciada la construcción de varios tanques, surgen imprevistos por los que el cliente solicita realizar modificaciones en el número de tanques, es por ello que AB Contratistas debe establecer criterios para evaluar las alternativas de solución que minimicen el impacto de dichas modificaciones.
