This research work was carried out in the native community of Santa Mercedes in the permanent sampling plot of the forest management area, with the objective of determining the increase in the volume of wood and the structure of the forest of the native community of Santa Mercedes, at the end of the 2-year period. According to the results obtained, it can be indicated that a total of 1,108 individuals were inventoried. The basal area shows a total increase of 1,986 m2 during a period. The increase in height was 0.58 m per tree, plot 7 had an increase of 0.54 m per tree while in plot 8 it was 0.62 m per tree. The increase in volume was 109.11 m³, with plot 8 being the one with the highest increase with 60.37 m³.
