La investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la influencia de la Estandarización de procesos en el desempeño de los costos logísticos de una empresa comercializadora de mineral aurífero. El estudio fue pre experimental de Pre test y Post test, utilizando técnicas como la entrevista y revisión documental; aplicando una de Guía de entrevista al Gerente General. Los resultados de los indicadores estadísticamente significativos son: Costo unitario de pedidos atendidos (p=0.001<0.05) se redujo un 11.07%, el costo de inventario (p=0.000<0.05) pasó de 50.72% reduciéndose a 46.59%, el porcentaje de cumplimiento de pago (p= 0.012 < 0.05) pasó de 93.10% incrementándose a 99.13%. Ovarian serous cystadenoma is a type of tumor derived from superficial (celomic) epithelitun constituted by cystic areas. Reason for these ovarian tumors predominance is a mystery. We report one case presenting in a patient transferred to our medical center because of a two months evolution large increase in abdominal size. Diagnosis was suspected by pelvic ultrasound, a giant 22 kg tumor was found during surgery and diagnosis was confirmed by pathology.

The cystosarcoma phyllodes is a rare variant of breast cancer, which is formed from the stroma (connective tissue) of the breast, in contrast to carcinomas, which develop in the ducts or lobules. Phyllodes tumors are usually benign but on rare occasions may be malignant (possibility of spread). We report on a patient with this condition, which was referred to our center for tumor and pain in the right breast, 15 years of evolution, whose diagnosis was suspected by findings of ultrasound and mammography, was found in the operating room a mass of 20 cm in diameter, which was confirmed by pathology.
