Introduction and objectives: The objective of this study is to determine if the type of cleft lip and palate is associated with a higher risk of alteration of the Eustachian tube. Establece la presencia o no de cambios en la función timpánica en pacientes con hendidura labiopalatina producidos por la palatoplastía. Se realizó un estudio de tipo cuantitativo observacional, serie de casos con análisis inferencial de 48 pacientes a quienes se le realizó la intervención quirúrgica entre el 2018 -2019 en el Hospital Nacional Docente Madre Niño San Bartolomé de Lima Perú. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó el programa SPSS versión 26.
