El presente artículo se sustenta en el análisis de los objetivos estratégicos establecidos en los planes de las diferentes instituciones locales, regionales y nacionales del sector público, con la finalidad de determinar la cantidad de objetivos y calidad en la redacción de los mismos; además de proponer mejoras metodológicas para tal fin.

La presente investigación tiene por finalidad analizar la información económica que se presentan en los estudios de impacto ambiental y su relación sobre la toma de decisiones de evaluación de proyectos en los sectores de mineria, hidrocarburos y energia. En cuanto a la información económica que se incluye en los estudios de impacto ambiental se tiene la valoración del plan de manejo ambiental y el análisis costo beneficio; en relación a las decisiones de evaluación de proyectos se tiene la inversión y los indicadores de rentabilidad.
