The objective was to determine the relationship between sociodemographic variables and work overload in nurses of the care services of the Regional Hospital of Loreto Iquitos 2023. The method was quantitative with a non experimental, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 158 nurses who work in the care services of the Regional Hospital of Loreto. The technique was the survey and the instruments were the sociodemographic data sheet and the work overload questionnaire. For the analysis and processing of the information, the statistical software SPSS version 24 was used and for the correlation analysis, the non-parametric inferential statistical test Chi Square (x2) was applied, with a significance level of α < 0.05.
