El presente proyecto de investigación titulado “DISEÑO DE PAVIMENTO FLEXIBLE PARA EL MEJORAMIENTO DEL CAMINO VECINAL BUENOS AIRES - FLOR DE MAYO, DISTRITO DE MOYOBAMBA, DEPARTAMENTO DE SAN MARTIN”, tiene por finalidad diseñar la estructura del pavimento flexible para el camino vecinal Buenos Aires – Flor de Mayo, utilizando el método AASHTO a través de la recopilación de información, análisis y aplicación de los criterios necesarios para el diseño. De modo que este soporte las cargas a las que será sometido diariamente y a las proyectadas durante su periodo de diseño bajo la acción de las cargas de tránsito. Para ello la presente estudia la metodología AASHTO 1993 para el diseño de pavimentos flexibles y analiza las propiedades mecánicas del asfalto.
