The formation based on competencies and the strengthening of them must constitute organized and dynamic processes, based on the continuous improvement of their strategies, tools and actors involved. In the profession of Midwife, there are standards implemented by the International Confederation of Midwives that set the standard for quality training and regulation of obstetric practice.
