The purpose of this investigation work is to stablish the mean characteristics of the mercury range in urine so 30 professors, 11 students and 3 technicians were evaluated through a written test and an urine sample was taken from them, then they were collected 100ml sterilizing bottles. After that, they were analyzed in the chemistry services unit of the faculty of chemistry of San Marcos university through the I ASTM D ﷓3223﷓95 FLAMELES ATOMICABSOPTION SPECTRO PHOTOMETRIC METHOD. The results were: Characteristics of the study sample: the age average of the sample was 38.50 years old (standard deviation =8%). The sample had predominance of male sex (84%) and (15.9%) of female sex only.
