The United Nations (1993) defines violence against women as “any act of gender violence that results in physical, sexual or psychological harm to the woman”. The present work focuses on diagnosing and preparing a Communication Plan for the Prevention and Sensitization of Violence against women at the Universidad Católica Los Angeles de Chimbote (ULADECH)-Huaraz Branch. The hypothesis is raised that the design of a Communication Plan and the application of its strategies will respond directly (univocally) to the needs of prevention of gender violence. The sample includes 120 students.
