Introduction: The inappropriate lifestyle (IL) increases the risk of non-communicable diseases; undergraduate university students are a susceptible population to present an IL. Objectives: To determine if age, sex, marital status, work activity, family responsibilities, study cycle and place of residence were factors associated with an inappropriate lifestyle (IL) in medical students. Secondarily, the dimensions most frequently associated with IL were identified.
