Para el desarrollo de la investigación se identificó las fuentes de información entre ellos los estados financieros de la empresa, luego se revisó los principales documentos tales como; registros financieros, registros de créditos, reportes de ventas, reportes de cobranzas y reportes de cuentas incobrables, etc. Posterior a ello, se analizaron y organizaron los datos en figuras y tablas; finalmente, para contrastar la hipótesis se utilizó el análisis de coeficiente de correlación. La investigación concluyo que la falta de una gestión eficiente en el otorgamiento de créditos y en la ejecución de la cobranza genera a la empresa costos adicionales que termina afectando su rentabilidad.

Loayza SRL, located in the district of Moche, during the period 2012 - 2017. The company under study is dedicated to the retail sale of fuels since 1970. For the development of this research, sources of information were identified, including the financial statements of the company, then reviewed the main documents such as; financial records, credit records, sales reports, collections reports and uncollectible accounts reports, etc. After that, the data were analyzed and organized in figures and charts; and finally, to test the hypothesis, the correlation coefficient analysis was used.
