description El objetivo principal de la presente investigación fue diseñar y proponer un taller artístico integral dirigido a niños y niñas entre los 6 y 8 años para mejorar los niveles de autoestima. El tipo de estudio es descriptivo propositivo, con una muestra de 17 niños y niñas del primer y segundo grado de Primaria del Colegio Trener – Monterrico, quienes fueron anteriormente seleccionados por sus tutoras. El trabajo fue supervisado por la Dirección de Nivel Primaria. Se utilizó el Cuestionario EDINA para evaluar e identificar los niveles de la autoestima de los niños y niñas que conformaron la muestra. Las actividades propuestas para el taller artístico integral se diseñaron a partir de los aportes teóricos de autores expertos en la enseñanza de arte a niños, y también se tuvieron en cuenta las características y necesidades del desarrollo en las edades antes mencionadas.
