Los resultados obtenidos evidencian que ambas variables se correlacionan. Las dimensiones de significatividad y comprensibilidad muestran una relación positiva y significativa con el estilo de afrontamiento enfocado en la tarea. Asimismo, se muestra una correlación negativa y significativa entre las 3 dimensiones del SOC y el estilo de afrontamiento evitativo. Por último, el estilo de afrontamiento social y emocional presentó una correlación negativa y significativa con la dimensión manejabilidad del SOC.

The sample consisted of 149 parents. The Consistency Sense Scale (SOC-13) and the Stress Coping Scale (COPE-60) were used, whose validity and reliability analyzes were acceptable. The results obtained show that both variables are correlated. The dimensions of significance and understandability show a positive and significant relationship with the coping style focused on the task. Likewise, it shows a negative and significant correlation between the 3 dimensions of the SOC and the avoidance coping style.
