Debido a la demanda que va aumentando cada año y al diseño antiguo de los centros de terapia donde no velan por la comodidad del paciente y familiares, es necesario considerar nuevos proyectos que se enfoquen en las personas y en que el lugar para rehabilitarse transmita la sensación de un segundo hogar. Mediante el énfasis de espacios humanizados se plantea una nueva manera de diseñar los espacios que las personas con discapacidad necesitan, donde los nuevos conceptos que se consideran importantes para un diseño apto son, incluir vegetación e iluminación natural tanto a los espacios públicos como privados, tener en cuenta la relación entre el exterior y el interior y usar colores que ayuden a que las personas reduzcan la sensación de estrés y preocupación. Todo con el fin de lograr una rehabilitación integral donde el confort del paciente sea considerado el principal objetivo.

Due to the demand that is increasing every year and the old design of therapy centers where they are indifferent to the comfort of their patients and their family members, it is necessary to consider new projects that focus on people and in which the place to rehabilitate conveys the feeling of a second home. Through the emphasis on humanized spaces, a new way of designing the spaces that people with disabilities need is proposed, where the new concepts that are considered important for a suitable design are to include vegetation and natural lighting in both public and private spaces, take into account the relationship between outside and inside and use colors that help people reduce the feeling of stress and worry.
