Los casos clínicos seleccionados son una pequeña muestra de lo vivido en esta etapa. Se escogieron los casos que tuvieron un mayor impacto a nivel personal y profesional durante el internado médico en el Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo y el Hospital María Auxiliadora. Objetivo: Describir y realizar un análisis crítico de los casos clínicos más significativos en mi formación tanto como profesional de salud y como persona, durante el internado médico. Metodología: Es un trabajo descriptivo y analítico de la experiencia clínica obtenida durante el internado médico en el periodo junio 2022 - enero 2023. Resultados: Se presentan 30 casos clínicos de los cuales 14 son de especialidades quirúrgicas, 5 de ginecología y obstetricia, 5 de pediatría y 6 de medicina interna. La oportunidad de ser parte de todo el proceso hospitalario del paciente e interactuar con ellos el día a día, desde el ingreso hasta el alta ha sido el proceso más rico de mi formación tanto como profesional de la salud y como ser humano. Conclusiones: El internado médico es una etapa de formación imprescindible dentro de la carrera el cual permite desarrollar habilidades tanto medicas como interpersonales, afianzar conocimientos previos y dar paso a la práctica médica. considero que debemos recordar siempre lo aprendido y experimentado durante esta parte de la formación tanto lo positivo como lo negativo, es nuestro deber extender nuestros conocimientos a las nuevas generaciones, estando siempre dispuestos a ayudar, como también es nuestra responsabilidad intentar hacer un cambio en lo que estamos en desacuerdo.

The selected clinical cases are a small sample of what was experienced in this stage. The cases that had the greatest personal and professional impact during the medical internship at the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo and the Hospital María Auxiliadora were chosen. Objective: To describe and perform a critical analysis of the most significant clinical cases in my training both as a health professional and as a person, during the medical internship. Methodology: This is a descriptive and analytical study of the clinical experience obtained during the medical internship in the period June 2022 - January 2023. Results: 30 clinical cases are presented of which 14 are from surgical specialties, 5 from gynecology and obstetrics, 5 from pediatrics and 6 from internal medicine. The opportunity to be a key part in the patients care and interact with them daily, from admission to discharge has been the richest process of my training both as a health professional and as a human being. Conclusions: The medical internship is an essential training stage within the career which allows us to develop both medical and interpersonal skills, strengthen previous knowledge and give way to medical practice.
