Se creó una búsqueda en la base de datos Scopus para identificar la producción académica del “Journal of international Society of Preventive and Community Dentistry” en el período del año 2016 al 2021. Para la extracción de los manuscritos se aplicó la estrategia de búsqueda en relación al nombre de la revista, utilizando los operadores boleanos “OR” y “AND”; asimismo se utilizó Microsoft Excel para la elaboración de tablas y Scival para el análisis bibliométrico de los datos, los cuales fueron divididos en indicadores de impacto (CiteScore), producción y patrones de colaboración. Resultados: Se obtuvieron un total de 599 manuscritos correspondientes al período 2016-2021 mediante análisis de metadatos. La universidad Manipal Academy of Higher Education, en India, fue la universidad con mayor cantidad de publicaciones en la revista “Journal of international Society of Preventive and Community Dentistry”. Conclusión: El mayor porcentaje de los documentos analizados se encontró en revistas del Quartil 2 y la producción científica de la revista recibió en mayor porcentaje la colaboración institucional. India, Arabia Saudita, Irán y Perú encabezaron la lista de los países con mayor producción científica en la revista. Dos investigadores peruanos encabezan la lista como autores más productivos con 18 publicaciones y 11 manuscritos respectivamente.
